I live in Alabama and know what this man has done to this state. He cares nothing for the people here, so what makes anyone think he will care about this country! He's an evil, vile human and yes, he's a raciest religious idiot!
Our Minnesota Senator has done his research and is a man to be proud of. Thank you, Al Franken .
Another f'ing Republican crook. Let it be on the public record that, if this terrible man is confirmed, it is yet another black mark, and indelible proof that Republicans care only about their power and the money they need to keep it. There is a special place in hell for these folks.
Al was very diplomatic and got Sessions but good. It pays to do your homework. Sessions is used to bullying his way through but Franken's facts gobsmacked him and revealed his lies. Love it!!!
So the newly appointed attorney General never went to law school? Wouldn't law school be a requirement for this position? Forget about passing the bar exam and such. But no law education at all?
Al was so respectful. I would have ripped him a new one. Sessions is so easily thrown off his game that he has practiced for days. Piss him off and we will see the real bigot.
Senator Franken, Minnesota, has been the most forceful in questioning Session. He got under Session's skin. Proud of you senator.
yGood job by Sen Franken---his questions make it perfectly clear that Sessions is lying about his record. To the point that he denies knowing a lawyer whose case he is claiming to have personally handled!! I understand that Sessions has also promised to recuse himself from a "Clinton investigation". What investigation is that? How can you recuse yourself from something that doesn't exist? Just a sample of the fact that none of these repubs can tell the truth!
I used to think catching someone in a lie actually meant something. Now I feel it's just a gang initiation right in the new administration.
"I was on a radio program without my records and that was my memory at the time".....
WHAT?! Senator, it is impossible to "remember" things you didn't do....That's called "imagining." That's really some imagination you have there.
